NEW DELHI: "Trade and industry has to demonstrate its efficiency as well as its willingness to fulfil social objectives. The financial activities in society cannot be undertaken in isolation of the social environment,'' said Delhi Lieutenant-Governor B. L. Joshi. Inaugurating the Annual Day Function of Delhi Traders' Association at Pragati Maidan here over the weekend, he said the Association was making sincere effort to promote exports from India by regularly organising buyers-sellers meets and through its strategically located `Help Counters'' to help exporters.
