CHENNAI: JHA Agarsen College, Madhavaram, will hold Talent Quest 2006, for class XI and XII students of north Chennai. The programme will include events such as ad-zap, classical dance, fusion dance, chart making, slogan writing and quiz. Students will also attend introductory classes on improving their learning abilities and achieving goals. The programme is aimed at seeking out individual and group talent in classical dances, elocution and junk art. "Talent Quest is a much needed initiative," said K. Durai Pandian, principal of the college. "The event will become a platform for achievement and expression for the student community in the region." Participants must be accompanied by a school faculty member. Apart from the first and second prize, winners will receive special prizes such as a waiver of first term fees. A rolling trophy will be presented to the school that sends the most number of participants. The last date for registration is January 15. For more details contact: Prof. R.
