CHENNAI: An international symposium on `Prostate Cancer A Multi-Disciplinary Approach,' to be held here on January 9 and 10, will highlight the use of brachytherapy to treat cancer of the prostate gland. Announcing this at a press conference on Saturday, P.C. Reddy, chairman, Apollo Hospitals, said the symposium, being organised by the hospital, was an attempt to map the different approaches to "curing" prostate cancer. The hospital would start research by the end of the year in cancer, cardiac care and neurosurgery, including examining the role of complementary medicines.
