Nine town planning officials felicitated

HYDERABAD: MCH Commissioner Sanjay Jaju felicitated nine town planning officials for having done an efficient job in completing road widening of Banjara Hills RoadNumbers two and three plus Jubilee Hills 36 here on Saturday.

Road widening works were completed in this area within a record 100 days. Mr. Jaju said donors of the land too would be felicitated at a grand function on the Republic day Januray 26. He especially appreciated efforts put in by the Additional Commissioner (Planning) K. Dhananjaya Reddy and Chief City Planner B. Purushotham Reddy in completing the gigantic task on schedule.

Earlier, he released diary 2006 published by MCH Revenue Employees Welfare Association. Bill collectors who have collected tax over and above their targets would be also be honoured with suitable incentives, he added.

The newly introduced MCH mascot, Mr. Clean, elicited keen interest from among the corporators belonging to the Municipal Corporations of Bhubaneswar and Mussorie.

The 25-odd corporators visited MCH here on Saturday as part of their three-day tour to the city for the ongoing `Pravasa Bharatiya Divas'.
