Vaikunda Ekadesi

The Venkateswara Swamy Temple - Tirupur Tirupathi is organising Vaikunda Ekadesi on January 10. The `sorga vasal' opening will be at 4.50 a.m., discourse by astrologer A.M. Rajagopalan at 6 p.m., by Tiruchi K. Kalyanaraman at 7 p.m., dance drama by Sri Rangam Bharatanatyalaya will go on from 10 p.m. to 5.00 a.m. on January 11.

Booklet

Sri Ranganatha Charities will be distributing a booklet on `Ekadesi Vridham' compiled by V.V. Parthasarathy to the devotees at Sri Kothandaramasamy Temple, Ram Nagar and Srinivasaperumal Temple at Pappanaickenpalayam on January 10.

Symposium

A state-level technical symposium for polytechnic college students on Monday (January 9) has been organised by Christ the King Polytechnic College, Othakkalmandapam. The inauguration of the symposium would be held at 10 a.m. on Monday.

Conference

Richmond Hospital organised a national-level Ortho Physio conference to highlight the advances in management of orthopaedic problems. A press release from the hospital said 760 delegates took part in the conference.

It was inaugurated by the Dean of the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital, T.P. Kalaniti.
