Coimbatore: A national conference on "Plant Sciences Research and Development" will be conducted at the PSG College of Arts and Science on January 11 and 12. Research articles and lead research papers in Medicinal Plant Science, Plant Foods for Human Nutrition, Science and Technology for Rural Development, Biotechnology, Environment and pollution will be presented.

Eight scientists from India will be honoured with gold medals and citations for their contribution to plant science research.
