Natyotsavam draws good crowd

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Natyotsavam organised by the Gurugopinath Natanagramam and the South Zone Culture Centre here turned out to be a memorable experience for the art enthusiasts in the city.

The festival of dances held at Theerthapada Mandapam at East Fort attracted a number of foreign tourists too. Kathakali, Kerala Natanam, Koodiyattom and other traditional dances were staged as part of the festival.

Other than the artistes from the State, a host of artistes from Tamil Nadu presented Karagattom, Mayil Nrutham and Neyyandi Melam. There was a Nadaswaram concert too.
