Soccer training for students

KANNUR: The Sporting Buds Coaching Centre here will start `Soccer goes to school' programme for offering football training to soccer playing students. Centre chairman C. Raghunath and convener V. Raghuthaman said at a press meet here on Monday that Kannur was losing its soccer tradition owing to the lack of grounds and training. Under the new programme, trainers of the centre will conduct football coaching in schools. Five schools here have invited the centre to launch the programme, they said.
