Nellore: The 130-year-old V.R. High School campus in Nellore town is a beehive of activity with the three-day district-level kite festival launched on Monday. The necessary arrangements have been made, according to correspondent and secretary Anam Vivekananda Reddy. More than 10,000 colourful kites have been ordered from Hyderabad, meeting the tastes of students. Each day, competitions will be organised for different age groups of students from 2.30 p.m. and prizes given. Cultural programmes will also be organised.
