NIZAMABAD: The four-day 13th annual literary celebrations of the America-based Appajosyula Vishnubhotla Kandalam Foundation concluded on Sunday with the presentation of the foundation's Lifetime Achievement Award (Pratibhamurthy Puraskaram) to a renowned Telugu literary luminary and professor Biruduraju Ramaraju. Cash award of Rs. 1 lakh and a citation were handed over to the awardee by Appajosyula Satyanarayana on behalf of the foundation. On the occasion, the Ramaraju couple was honoured by his disciples and others in a grand manner with shawls and garlands. Bethavolu Rama Brahmam, a Professor in Telugu University, said the foundation did a very good work by selecting Mr. Rajaraju for the award, because he was cent per cent deserved for it.
