PONDICHERRY: A government release here on Monday has notified that, as there was a change in the date of Bakrid (Id ul fitr), all government offices, educational institutions and banks including the cooperative institutions will remain closed on January 11 instead of January 10 in Pondicherry, Karaikal and Yanam regions. The holiday has been declared under Public Instruments Act, the release added.
