Power shutdown

Power supply will be affected between 10.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. on Tuesday in R.M. Nagar Main Road, R.M. Nagar Police Station, Dasappa Layout, Hoysalanagar, Sadanandnagar, Krishnaiahanapalya, Kasturinagar, part of Vijinapura and surrounding areas, according to the Bangalore Electricity Supply company.

Water adalat

The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board will hold a water adalat on Tuesday at 9.30 a.m. at Mysore Road and Byrasandra. The adalat will be conducted at the respective offices of the Assistant Executive Engineer, West-3 sub division, Mysore Road and South-East-2 sub division, Byrasandra. Disputes of consumers coming under the jurisdiction of Mysore Road, Byatarayanapura, Padarayanapura, Jagjeevanramnagar, Magadi Road, Cholurpalya, Kempapura Agrahara, and Gopalpura service station limits and Byrasandra, Jayanagar 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 blocks, Jayanagar 4th `T' block, Wilson Garden and Lakkasandra service station limits will be heard and settled at the adalat.

Career opportunities

Id-Uz-Zuha prayers

The Juma Masjid Trust Board has announced that the Id-Uz-Zuha prayers will be held at 9.30 a.m. at the Quddus Saheb Idgah grounds on Millers Road on January 11. Over one lakh people congregate at the Idgah grounds for Id prayers twice a year.

Vaikunta Ekadasi
