Big firms to take part in The Hindu job fair

30 companies to send representatives to conduct interviews


  • Fair to provide platform for graduates to find suitable jobs
  • Hall-ticket must for entry

    HYDERABAD : Some of the big names in the IT, ITES and BPO industry will be a part of The Hindu Opportunities Fair to be organised at the HITEX grounds in Madhapur on January 12 and 13. The fair is being organised in association with the Government of Andhra Pradesh, Eenadu and Eenadu Television.

    The fair will provide a platform for fresh graduates and those with some experience to find suitable jobs with some of the biggest names in the industry like Polaris, Alsec Technologies, HSBC, Clickjobs, ABB, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Patni Computer Systems Ltd, Verizon Data and Accenture setting up their stalls.

    More than 30 companies will send their representatives to interact with job-seekers and conduct interviews at the venue. Eight test areas and 30 interview rooms have been earmarked for the 50,000 expected crowd.

    Registration

    Interested people can register online at www.thehindu.com or www.tmifirst.com and obtain a hall-ticket online that is must for the entry. Candidates then can visit the stalls and submit their resume. Companies will short list the names and call for interviews on the spot. Successful candidates will be offered jobs.

    Special buses

    APSRTC will run special buses to the venue from Secunderabad, Jubilee Bus Stand, Koti, Nampally, Imlibun bus stand, Afzalgunj, Dilsukhnagar, ECIL X Roads, BHEL, Uppal, Kacheguda, RC Puram, Charminar and Mehdipatnam from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

    The special buses will charge normal fare only.
