HYDERABAD: Commissioner of Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad, Sanjay Jaju has instructed officials of tax section to take `serious steps as per official procedure' on the properties of all tax defaulters.

Reviewing the tax collection here on Monday, Mr. Jaju expressed his concern that there were about 60 to 70 `big defaulters' in each division of the Corporation.

He wanted meetings to be held with residential and welfare associations for conducting collection camps.

Fixing targets for each tax official, the Commissioner asked the section not to take leave till the end of the financial year, a press release said.
