FRAT dharna against crime

Thiruvananthapuram: The Federation of Residents Associations, Thiruvananthapuram (FRAT) on Monday criticised the Government for its alleged failure to protect city residents terrorised by the spate of thefts and violent incidents.

Addressing a press conference here, FRAT president T.K. Bhaskara Panicker and general secretary Paraniyam Devakumar said FRAT will organise a dharna in front of the Secretariat on Wednesday evening to highlight the plight of the residents. The participants in the dharna will also light candles to register their protest against the failure to check crime.
