Mumbai: This year's Indian Oaks will be sponsored by Dheeraj Group of Constructions here on Sunday, January 15, at Mahalaxmi race course. Mr. Sunny Wadhawan of Dheeraj Group briefed the press on Tuesday that "` we are excited at our association with such a big event and have agreed to sponsor this event for next three years". This third classic event of the season will be named as the Dheeraj Arma Indian Oaks and it will attract the winner's purse of approximately Rs. 37 lakhs. Out of which Rs. 20 lakhs are guaranteed by the Dheeraj Group and the rest will be contributed through the sweepstakes. This would be a record stakesmoney for this race which is also known as Ladies Derby.
