KOLKATA: Mumbai took total control of its three-day Vijay Merchant (under-17) all-India inter-zonal cricket quarterfinal match against Orissa here on Tuesday. After having dismissed Orissa for a paltry 104, Mumbai ended the day at 168 for one in 51 overs. In other matches, Baroda hit up 284 for seven in 90 overs against Punjab while Uttar Pradesh, all out for 165, hit back to leave Delhi reeling at 52 for two. Karnataka routed Assam for 144 and replied with 77 for four. The day's hero was Delhi's left-arm pacer Pradeep Sangwar who grabbed nine UP wickets for 76 runs in 24.5 overs. The scores: Orissa 1st innings: 104 in 36.1 overs (Iqbal Abdulla six for 35) vs Mumbai 1st innings: 168 for one in 51 overs (Gaurav Chavan 80 batting, Rohan Bhosle 43 batting). Baroda 1st innings: 284 for seven in 90 overs (Anupam Gupta 86, Kedar Deodhar 44, Maitrik Shah 43; Rajwinder Singh three for 86) vs Punjab. Assam 1st innings: 144 in 54.4 overs (Rajdeep Das 44; Manish N. four for 43, Sunil N. Raju three for 30) vs Karnataka 1st innings: 77 for four in 33 overs (Suraj Sampath 33; Krishna Das three for 27). Uttar Pradesh 1st innings: 165 in 66.5 overs (M.K.
