Jasbir wins

HYDERABAD : Jasbir Singh of Punjab clinched honours in the one-day show jumping event (open) logging 127.90 points on the final day of the 25th All India Police equestrian meet at Shivrampally near here on Tuesday.

The results:

Show jumping: Open event (one-day): 1. Jasbir Singh (Pun) 127.90 pts, 2. Kashmir Singh (BSF), 3. Talwinder Singh (Pun).

Show jumping: Team event: Open: 1.Punjab Police (Jagdish Singh, Talwinder Singh, Jasvir Singh, Lakhvinder Singh) 1515.60 pts, 2. Delhi Police (Radhey Shyam, Laxminarayan, Dharam Pal, Hari Kishan), 3. Assam Rifles (Madan Singh, Manoj Lama, Sarwan Kumar, Md.Malik).

One-event: Novice: 1. Shri Ram (BSF), 2. Hitakaran Singh (MP), 3. Mangal Singh (NPA, Hyd).

Team event: 1. Madhya Pradesh (Attama Ram, Hitakaran Singh, Jai Narayan, Jabar Singh), 2. BSF (Kamaljit Singh, Yongbir Singh, Gurdip Singh, Jagtar Singh), 3. Delhi Police (Dharam Pal, Rajesh Kumar, Sushil Kumar, Jai Bhagwan).
