ANANTAPUR : A salesman of a Kashmiri handicrafts emporium allegedly tried to molest a Bulgarian girl when she went for shopping at Puttaparthi in the district on Monday. She was on a visit to Puttaparthi along with her family members. According to the police, the girl went to the shop being run by Kashmiris when the salesman, Shamir Ahmed Shopi, a native of Shivbagh in Srinagar, allegedly tried to molest her. The girl raised alarm and ran to the police station located nearby. She lodged a complaint with the police who later arrested the youth.
