Assurance on LPG supply

VISAKHAPATNAM: District Supply Officer Roop Kumar has held out the assurance that cooking gas would be supplied without linking it to ration cards. He added that the kerosene coupons taken back from the beneficiaries would be returned.

According to CPI (M) Jagadamba zone committee secretary J.D. Naidu, the DSO gave this assurance following a dharna organised on Tuesday by the party in which a large number of women participated.
