Bus pass counters closed today

APSRTC has informed that bus pass counters on the RTC office premises in the city and at eSeva centres will remain closed on Wednesday on account of Bakrid.

Kendriya Vidyalaya admissions

Kendriya Vidyalaya, AFS Begumpet, has announced admissions to Classes I to IX and Pre-Primary (UKG). Applications can be obtained between 9 a.m. and 12 noon and registrations are open till February 21. The school is located on Air Force Station Campus on Balanagar Road near New Bowenpally, according to a press release.

reduction in LT losses

The Central Power Distribution Company (CPDCL) has claimed success in its efforts to reduce loss by removing electricity meters from inside buildings and mounting them on nearby electricity poles. In a statement on Tuesday, its CMD Heeralal Samariya said the move was to serve genuine customers. "In a way, it is also helping the company in reducing LT losses as encouraging results are foreseen," he said.
