Two robbed of Rs. 9.85 lakhs

BANGALORE:
Two men, who came on a motorcycle, waylaid and robbed two employees of a sugar merchant of Rs. 9.85 lakhs in cash in Rajajinagar police station limits on Tuesday.
The police said Shameer, a sugar trader having his office in New Tharagupet, had sent his two employees, Venkatesh and Mahadev, to collect money from his customers in RMC Yard.
After collecting the money, Venkatesh and Mahadev were riding back to their office around 3 p.m. when the two men snatched the cash bag. While one of them was caught, the other escaped with the bag.
