Two killed, one hurt in road accidents

BANGALORE:
Two persons were killed and one was injured in two accidents reported in the city on Monday.
Sandeep (20), a student of BBM in a college in Thippasandra, was killed after he fell off his motorcycle near Le Meridian Hotel on T. Chowdiah Road on Monday.
His friend, Aschit Chitra, who was riding pillion, suffered minor injuries.
According to police, Sandeep and Chitra were returning to their room in Thippasandra when Sandeep lost control of the motorcycle and fell off the road. Both were taken to a private hospital, where Sandeep died. The High Grounds traffic police have registered a case.
A pedestrian was killed when a mini-lorry hit him near Sarakki Gate on Kanakapura Main Road on the same day. The police gave the name of the dead as Nagappa (53) of Sarakki. He died at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences, the police said.
