CPCRI (Kasargod) wins football title

HYDERABAD: CPCRI, Kasargod, scored an emphatic 6-1 win against CIFT Kochi in the football final of the ICAR Inter-institutional South Zone sports meet at Railway Grounds here on Wednesday.

In chess, T.E. Janardhan of CPCRI was winner while Ravindra Babu of DRR (Hyderabad) runner-up in men's section, while Tessy Ronny of CIFT (Kochi) and Sudha Nair of DRR were placed first and second in women's category.
