Student arrested on charge of robbing women

BANGALORE:
The HAL police have arrested a student on charges of snatching bags and wallets from lonely women and stealing mobile phones from restaurants.
The police gave the name of the arrested as T. Gopalappa (20), a first year B.A. student of a city college and a native of Malur taluk in Kolar district.
The police have recovered from him eight mobile phones and two digital cameras, all estimated at Rs. 90,000. The police claimed to have solved two cases of robbery and five cases of theft reported from HAL police station by arresting Gopalappa.
