CUB revises interest on term deposits

CHENNAI: City Union Bank has revised the interest rates for domestic term deposits effective January 16. The rate for one year and above but less than three years has been raised to 7.25 per cent from 7 per cent and for three years and above to 7.50 per cent from 6.75 per cent. Senior citizens will get 8 per cent (7.5 per cent) for deposits of three years and above and 7.75 per cent (7.25 per cent) for one year and above but less than three years, says a release.
