Congress to boycott inaugural day of session

CHENNAI: The Congress Legislature Party will also boycott the opening day of the Assembly Session, beginning on January 13. This means the entire Opposition, barring the BJP, will boycott the Assembly during the Governor's address.

In a statement, CLP leader S.R. Balasubramoniyan said the Government's decision to begin the session on the day of Boghi was an attempt to wound the feelings of Tamils.
