Symposium on radiation physics

Chennai: The Indian Society of Radiation Physics, the Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research, Kalpakkam and the Meenakshi College for Women, Chennai, will jointly hold the 16th National Symposium on Radiation Physics on the college premises in Kodambakkam between January 18 and 20.

Many scientists from abroad, the BARC, the IGCAR, Kalpakkam, the ISRP and national universities are expected to participate. Anil Kakodkar, chairman, Atomic Energy Commission, will inaugurate the symposium and C.V. Bhirmanandham, vice-chancellor, Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, will release the proceedings.
