Mother of all meets
This is the season of high profile meets in the twin cities in the last few days. The Indian Science Congress was followed by the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas and now the investment get together is on but all this will be surely by the mother of all meets — the Congress Plenary Session.
The Government is pulling no punches in making this meet a successful one considering the VVIPs congregating to the Capital including Congress president Sonia Gandhi. While there is speculation whether Rahul Gandhi will make it to the top teams in the ministry or party, this could well be Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy's show.
Dr. Reddy is already spoken of as one of the `strongest' Congress Chief Ministers that have ruled the State and this meet might lend him that extra aura. A Cabinet and official reshuffle might follow this conclave plus its electoral alliance partner, Telangana Rashtra Samiti, could face more shocks.
