Women forums' march today
Special Correspondent
KOCHI:
The Janadhipathya Vanitha Sanghatana and the Yuvajana Vedi will take out marches to Government offices in the State to protest against the circumstances in which the accused in the Kozhikode ice-cream parlour sex scandal case got acquitted.
The two organisations alleged that it was because of the failure of the prosecution to prove the crimes that the accused got away. This was due to the behind the screen manoeuvres of the State Government and the prosecution, they alleged. The Government and the accused persons had made unprecedented efforts to destroy evidences and to get the witness change their stands, the secretary of the Janadhipathya Vanitha Sanghatana said.
