SBT to hold adalats

KANNUR:
The State Bank of Travancore (SBT) will conduct adalats for the one-time settlement of defaulted loans at the bank's branches in Kannur and Kasaragod districts.
A press release of the bank here on Friday said that the adalats would be held at the bank's main branch here on January 20 and the branch at Neeleswaram in Kasaragod district on January 21.
The bank's higher officials attending the adalats would take on-the-spot decisions giving concessions to borrowers as per its compromise policy. Borrowers wishing to participate in the adalat should contact branch managers of the respective branches on or before January 18.
