Isolated rain likely in south T.N.

CHENNAI: Mainly dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu and Kerala and dry weather prevailed over Andhra Pradesh, Lakshadweep and Karnataka.

The minimum temperature rose appreciably at one or two places over Tamil Nadu, rose at one or two places over Kerala, fell at one or two places over coastal and south interior Karnataka and changed little elsewhere over the region. They were above normal at one or two places over Tamil Nadu, Kerala, south interior Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and Telangana, below normal at one or two places over north interior Karnataka, rest Tamil Nadu and rest south interior Karnataka and were generally normal over the rest of the region. Ramagundam and Medak recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 15 degree Celsius in the plains of the region.

FORECAST (valid until Sunday morning): Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over south Tamil Nadu, south Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over north Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, north Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
