Meet on irrigation management

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Centre for Water Resources Development and Management (CWRDM) is organising a national programme on the `Sustainability of water users' associations under participatory irrigation management (PIM)' here till Tuesday. The programme is looking into various aspects of the functioning of water users' associations, and their successes and failures in the context of participatory irrigation management, implemented in various States. Since efforts for PIM has been initiated in Kerala, the programme has much relevance.
