KOZHIKODE: The State committee of the National Youth League (NYL) will organise 150 `Jana Kodathikal' (People's courts) across the State against the `anti-people rule' of the United Democratic Front (UDF) Government. The inauguration of the `Janavicharana' (People's trials) in these People's Courts will be held in Thiruvananthapuram on February 10. The series of people's courts will conclude in Kasaragod on February 26. The People's courts will put on trial the `anti people policies' and `excesses of the Government' during the last four-and-a-half years, NYL State president P.K. Shahul Hameed told reporters here on Friday. The `charge sheet' prepared by the NYL for the trial will be submitted at a public function to be held at Kozhikode Town Hall on January 26. The `victims' of the `atrocities' unleashed by the UDF Government will submit the charge sheet at this function. The NYL will oppose the move to `bury' the Narendran Commission report at any cost. He alleged that Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) is spearheading the move to shelve the report by aligning with certain Muslim organisations riding on the force of money and power.
