Janakiraman calls on Shanmugham

Pondicherry: With elections to the territorial Assembly round the corner, the leader of the Opposition in the Assembly, R.V. Janakiraman (Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam) on Sunday held discussions with president of the Pondicherry Pradesh Congress Committee, P. Shanmugham, at the latter's residence here.

Although a decision on seat sharing would be taken by respective high commands of the parties, the meeting was informal, sources said.
