ERODE: A woman was killed in a road accident here on Saturday. According to the police, Jayalakshmi (45), wife of Subramaniam of VIP Colony, along with her daughter Karthikeya was proceeding to her house from Bazaar on a moped. On Brough Road, a private town bus hit the moped killing Jayalakshmi on the spot. Karthikeya received injuries and admitted to a hospital. The Erode Town Police have registered a case.
