ERODE: On behalf of the NCC, Youth Red Cross and NSS of Kongu Polytechnic College, Perundurai, a blood donation cum blood group identification camp was conducted on the college campus. Ophthalmic surgeon S.S. Sugumar, who had donated blood 118 times, inaugurated the camp. He advised the students to involve themselves in social services. He stressed the need for donating blood by the NCC and NSS volunteers. The Patron Member of Kongu Vellalar Institute of Technology (KVIT) Trust, D. Venkateshwaran, presided.
