Meet on `Feminism In Urdu Culture'

The Department of Urdu at the Osmania University College for Women, Koti, will organise a two-day national seminar, `Feminism in Urdu Literature,' from 10.30 a.m. on January 17 at the Darbar Hall of the college. Face-to-face with R.K. Laxman

Akshara, in association with Penguin Books India and the Goethe Zentrum Hyderabad is organising a meeting with popular cartoonist R.K. Laxman on January 17 at 6 p.m. at the Association for German Culture on Hill Fort Road, Nampally. The meeting, which will be presided over by district Collector Arvind Kumar, will also have members of the Little Theatre reading out excerpts from Mr. Laxman's books, according to a press release.
