Renovation work to be inaugurated

KOCHI: Public Works Minister M.K. Muneer will on Monday inaugurate the renovation work of the HMT-Kalamassery-Eloor-Muttar road. The inaugural function will be held at HMT Junction, Kalamassery, at 4 pm. — Staff Reporter

Reservation

KOCHI: The reservation for Anglo-Indian students in B.Tech. seats in the College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuam, has been increased to two, Ludy Luiz, MLA, has said. A seat has been given to an Anglo-Indian student in the college in Electronics and Communication, he said, in a press release issued here. — Staff Reporter

Demand by ex-servicemen

KOCHI: The National Ex-Servicemen Co-ordination Committee (Kerala) has demanded that justice be done to widows of those who laid down their lives in the Second World War. K P Saithalavi, general secretary of the organisation said this while inaugurating a special meeting of war widows at Fort Kochi on Sunday. — Staff Reporter
