CHENNAI: Forty banks from all over India will participate in the fourth Banks' Olympiad to be held at different venues here from January 18 to 24 in 15 disciplines. Indian Bank will organise athletics, basketball, cricket, football, kabaddi and volleyball, while Bank of India will conduct kho-kho, body building, weightlifting and powerlifting. Union Bank will host carrom and badminton. Dena Bank will conduct table tennis, Canara Bank chess and Punjab National Bank hockey.
For the benefit of everyone, a website www.fourthbanksolympiad.com has been launched and the results will be updated every hour. The Olympiad will be inaugurated by Dr. K.C. Chakrabarty, Chairman and Managing Director, Indian Bank. — Sports Reporter
