Panel report on financial sector

MUMBAI: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) working group on `Conflicts of Interest in the Indian Financial Services Sector' has suggested that "Whistle Blowing should be encouraged." It also suggested that in the case of public sector enterprises (PSEs), actual governance functions be transferred from the administrative ministries to the boards and specialised agencies formed for the purpose besides professionalising and streamlining the process of appointment of directors.
