Filing of case against Raghavulu draws flak
Special Correspondent
HYDERABAD:
The CPI (M) received support from BJP, on Monday with senior leader and former Union Minister B. Dattatreya criticising the Government for filing a defamation case against the party's Polit Bureau member B.V. Raghavulu, for the latter's remarks on the ongoing irrigation projects.
At a press conference here, the BJP leader said that it showed (filing of the case) the ruling party's "political bankruptcy". He said the leaders of Congress, BJP, CPI and TRS also have made similar remarks and wanted to know whether Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy would have cases filed against them too.
