Three Ayyappa devotees killed in road accident

BELLARY: Three persons died, two on the spot, and eight others were injured when the multi-utility vehicle collided with a lorry near D. Hirehal village in Andhra Pradesh, around 20 km from here, on Bellary-Bangalore road on Monday. All the victims were devotees of Ayyappa and were returning home at Mavinahalli in Hospet taluk, Bellary district. The names of the dead were given as Boresh, Mallesh (driver), and Mallappa. Ramappa, Gavisiddappa, Basavaraj, Yellappa, Siddappa, Govindappa (lorry driver), and two others have been admitted to VIMS.
