BCIC signs pact with Dublin trade body

The two trade chambers will exchange market information

Bangalore: The Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce (BCIC) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Dublin Chamber Of Commerce, Ireland.

The MoU was signed by Jean Hoey, Director of Business Development, Dublin Chamber of Commerce, and Anant R. Koppar, President, BCIC. "This MoU is based on the mutual desire to establish closer contacts between us and the Dublin Chamber and is guided by the interests of membership, constituents and associations ," Mr. Koppar said.

As per the MoU, the two chambers will exchange regularly market information about the economic development of Karnataka and Ireland with a view to opening up further possibilities for increased exchange of trade between them and for the expansion of economic and industrial co-operation.
