Medical shop owner robbed

BANGALORE:
Three armed men robbed a medical shop owner of Rs. 31,200 and a gold ring in J.P. Nagar police station limits on Sunday night.
Police said that around 11.15 p.m. three men went to a medical shop in 2nd Phase, J.P. Nagar. They pretended to buy medicines and gave a prescription to the owner of the shop, Mruthyunjaya. As Mruthyunjaya was having a look at the prescription, the three allegedly threatened him with a knife, barged into the shop and took away Rs. 31,000 that was in the cash box. They then robbed Mruthyunjaya of Rs. 200 that was in his wallet and a gold ring, the police said. The J.P. Nagar police have registered a case.
