Mumbai: Democraticus and Holding Court excelled when the horses were exercised here on Tuesday morning (Jan.17).

Outer sand:

600m: Activisto (C. Rajendra) 38. Moved freely. Ring Bearer (rb) 39. Pushed. True Wisdom (T. S. Jodha) 36. Urged.

800m: Persephone (S. Fargeat) 56, 600/43.5. Easy. Snap Dragon (C. Rajendra), Xian (S. N. Chavan) 49.5, 600/37.5. They moved well and finished level. Mazan (T. S. Jodha) 51, 600/39. Pressed. Enchanting Girl (S. N. Chavan) 50, 600/37.5. Moved well. Portrush (Kharadi), Bionic Angel (rb) 49, 600/37. Former is a good type of youngster and bears watching.

1,000m: Pride (S. Fargeat), Landlord (C. Stefan) 1-9, 600/41. Former ended four lengths in front. Nightlife (C. Rajendra), Robinho (Colm O'Donoghue) 1-5, 600/39. They were urged and finished level.

1,200m: Sovereign Power (McCullagh) 1-23, 600/40. Handy. Simply Supreme (R. Pandey), Secret Warrior (Sameer) 1-14, 1,000/1-2, 600/38.5. Both were impressive.

1,400m: Saregama (McCullagh), Cosmic Swirl (P. S. Chouhan) 1-31.5, 1,000/1-5.5, 600/40.5. Former was urged to end level.

1,600m: Wild Vegas (S. N. Chavan) 1-51, 1,000/1-7.5, 600/40. Responded well. Democraticus (S. Fargeat), King Of Hearts (McCullagh) 1-42, 1,200/1-15, 600/39.5. Former who finished a distance ahead was outstanding.

1,800m: Holding Court (McCullagh) 2-00, 1,600/1-45, 1,200/1-18, 1,000/1-5, 600/39.5. Excelled.
