Power shutdown

CHENNAI: Power supply will be suspended between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. in parts of Purasawalkam and Ponneri on Thursday for maintenance work. Supply will be resumed at 5 p.m. after the work is completed.

Juvenile Bureau

jubilee celebrations

Juvenile Guidance Bureau, a non-governmental organisation, is celebrating its Golden Jubilee on January 20 at the Madras School of Social Work. R. Literary competition organised

Sri Ramakrishna Math, Chennai, held the National Youth Day literary competition recently. Students of S.V.M HSS won prizes in several categories such as English story telling, recitation, Tamil story telling, English essay writing and oratorical contests. Swami Gautamananda, president, Sri Ramakrishna Math distributed prizes.
