Sutlej Q3 profit up 31 p.c.

CHENNAI: Sutlej Industries recorded an increase of 31.3 per cent in its net profit during the third quarter ended December 31, 2005. The company made a net profit of Rs. 8 crore against Rs. 6.09 crore in the year-ago period. year. The turnover was Rs. 167.57 crore against Rs. 137.30 crore a rise of 22 per cent. The company has undertaken a major diversification programme in the field of home textile and garments. This project is currently under implementation at Bhilad in Gujarat.
