Chandigarh: Orissa Steelers came up with a stellar show to trounce Lucknow Nawabs 6-2, while Chennai Veerans snatched full three points from Imphal Rangers with a 3-2 win in Tier II matches of the Premier Hockey League here on Wednesday. Steelers further consolidated its position in the points table with 18 points from six victories and the Orissa side has virtually ensured promotion to Tier I in the third edition of the PHL.

In the other match, Chennai Veerans survived by the skin of the teeth against Imphal Rangers before chalking out a 3-2 win. UNI
