Under-12 tennis tournament

Bangalore: Kensri School and Academy of Excellence will conduct the annual futures under-12 inter-school tennis tournament in Bangalore on January 21. Entries close on Jan. 19. Contact the school office on 23533528 for further details.

Jyoti Nivas College will be conducting its annual inter-collegiate sports festival — Sphygmus 2006 — at the College premises from January 20 to 23. About 30 colleges within Bangalore City will be participating.

Hyderabad Karnataka Education Society (HKES) will conduct an inter-collegiate chess tournament at Sri Veerendra Patil College, Sadashivnagar, Bangalore on Jan 28th. The tournament will be conducted on a Swiss League basis and players should bring their own chessboards and clocks. Entries may be sent to the principal, HKES Sree Veerendra Patil College of Arts and Science, Commerce and BBM, 11th Main, 11th Cross, RMV Extension, Sadashivnagar, Bangalore. For details contact V.B.
